  • All ten teams are present for what is expected to be a busy three days and the only chance to test the cars with Pirelli’s new tyres ahead of the first race in two weeks’ time.

  • Mercedes has spent most of the first hour of testing in the garage due to a transmission issues. The team is swapping out the gearbox to get back on track as soon as possible.

  • Alfa Romeo’s Kimi Raikkonen held the fastest time at the end of the first hour of testing, with a 1:34.686 ahead of Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari with a 1:34.803
